How fast can we onboard?
Most facilities are live on the platform within minutes. Just invite and connect with your known clinicians and groups—once they’re registered, start booking.
Does ShiftsHero handle credentialing?
We do primary-source verification for NPI, DEA, malpractice, board cert, and CV. You still run your own privileging — we just track who’s credentialed where so matching stays accurate.
How does billing work?
Per Diem: 100% of contract value + the 3% fee debited via ACH at confirmation.
Who bills payers for the anesthesia services?
Billing is assigned at confirmation in a simple cascade. The clinician or group bills by default if they have a billing solution — no billing fee applies. If they don’t, it cascades to you or your billing designee. If neither side has a solution, Clomr — ShiftsHero’s parent company — manages claims and collections at 4% of collections.
How do we recoup booking costs?
This is done through professional fee billing and reimbursements. If the clinician or group handles the billing, they must reimburse you up to the booking contract value. If they pass on billing assignment, you may assign billing to Clomr. Clomr will handle claims submission and adjudication and will reimburse you up to the booking amount minus a 4% billing fee.
Where do candidates come from?
Users sign up as individuals or part of a group profile. These are doctors in your community you may already know or those looking for more work. Auto filtered by service radius is how they are discoverable by the facility. Connections require bilateral confirmation (both sides confirm the invitation).
We contract with an anesthesia group — how does that work?
Connect with the group as an entity. The group then shows up as a single candidate row in your match results — you send the offer to the group, and its admin accepts and assigns a credentialed, conflict-free member in one step. While you’re connected with a group, its members’ individual profiles are hidden from view, so the platform respects your group contract.
Is there a minimum volume commitment?
None. Post one shift a month or two hundred. No minimum, no subscription, no termination fees.
Can we keep our existing agency relationships?
Yes. Most facilities run both in parallel. Use what's best for you. Zero exclusivity.
